Walking Tour Company of the Year 2018 and 2019

Two years running Seattle Brewery Walking Tours has been awarded the Walking Tour Company of the Year 2018 and 2019 for Washington State by Travel and Hospitality Awards. Travel and Hospitality is a uniquely distributed guide to the best hotels and tour companies around the world. They carry out five programs picking the best in each continent, Asia, Americas, Europe, and Australasia. Their process is designed so that hotels and tour companies are awarded and recognised on merit with a fair and transparent judging process. Travel experts, along with a panel of trusted judges, have travelled the globe in order to find the best hotels, spas, restaurants and tour operators. The Travel and Hospitality Awards recognise those who make every traveler's experience exceptional. They seek out the activities and adventures that are truly outstanding and consider the best in each category.

We are honored to have been chosen as the best Walking Tour in the State of Washington for 2018 and we have won again for 2019. 2018 was our first year of operation but we feel that we have made a unique contribution to the local craft brewery community and have helped tourist and beer enthusiasts find new and interesting beers and breweries. We believe that each beer is truly unique and each drinker has unique tastes and preferences. There is no "right" beer, only the right beer for you.

When we go on a tour we tell our guests that they will taste a beer they never had before, they will taste a beer they really hate, and they will taste a beer they will really love. Before a tour people often tell us they hate a certain type of beer or would never try a specific style. Last week a young couple went on a tour and the husband said his favorite beers were IPAs and his wife said she hated IPAs. At the end of the tour the husband's favorite beer was a sour ale and the wife's was a hazey IPA. The goal of our tours is to learn about new beers and what makes the Seattle craft beer scene so unique. I hope that contributed to winning this award.

While it is nice to win awards and to be recognized for our work, at the end of the day it is really about enjoying a great beer with friends. We would love to take you on a tour, you can check them out here, but if you don't have time for that, do check out some of the best award winning breweries in the Northwest.
