Ballard's newest brewery

The two founders, Shaunn and Frank AKA The Bickersons started out drinking mostly wine (Frank) and spirits (Shaunn) but once a former co-worker opened a brewery their palates adjusted, and they were bitten by the beer bug.

In 2017, Frank started researching the art of brewing beer and by luck, two of his co-workers had beer equipment and experience, thus the hobby started.  With Frank being an analyst by trade, his thirst for knowledge on the subject took off and quickly went from a part-time hobby to full-time.  In 2018, when they wanted to open a brewery, it was important that they opened it in their Renton neighborhood.  Driving home from dinner one night, they came across a spot in the neighborhood and thought this was a sign.  In 2018 their dream came true with the Bickersons Brewhouse in Renton.

In 2022 they took over the old Peddler brewing building in Ballard and opened Bickersons brewhouse in the Ballard Brewing District.  This location has been a brewery since Maritime Pacific Brewing Company started brewing here in 1990. This location was the expansion Shaunn and Frank had been looking for.  They will move their beer production to Ballard while their Renton location will remain and be turned into a barrel aging taproom.
